Seniors’ Centre Without Walls & Senior Citizen Assistance Programs are getting a new office and they want you to come celebrate their grand opening!
To christen the new office the organizations are bringing in Chrissy’s Country Band to play an old-time classic country music show, who will be playing from 1:30 until 3:00. Guest speakers will be in attendance to make announcements and deliver information on all the programs that attendees can register for.
There will be complimentary coffee, tea, donuts and snacks to accompany the music and celebration.
“I’d just like everyone to know that everyone’s really friendly in the office, so stop up there and see how we can help you out.” Says Executive Director Ronda Wedhorn. “We really want to help people to stay and remain in their own homes as long as they can. So, if we can lend a helping hand to anyone, in any way, to help out with things around the home.”
For those who wish to attend, are age 55 and over and need assistance with transportation to the event can arrange a ride free of charge in Moose Jaw through Allbility Transportation Service.
The new office is located in the Town ‘n’ Country Mall at the north end of the building across from the Ardene.
