ODU’s Diehn Concert Series presents “Norfolk Letters”

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The bronze cast letters written by fallen soldiers on Norfolk’s Armed Forces Memorial will now be set to music.
Composer Michael Rickelton’s new work “Norfolk Letters” is presented by ODU’s Diehn Concert Series.
Composer Lori Laitman described Rickelton as having “a great and clear gift for writing for the voice,”
He is joined by sought-after baritone Ross Tamaccio and collaborative pianist Hsiao-Ying Lin.
The concert takes place Monday, Feb. 26 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chandler Recital Hall Diehn Center on the campus of Old Dominion University.
