BEMIDJI — In honor of St. Patrick’s Day,
Headwaters Music and Arts
is set to host a third session of its Our World of Music and Art Masterclass, on Irish Culture, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9, at Headwaters, 519 Minnesota Ave. NW.
In this class, participants will learn Irish folk dancing with retired music teacher Lenore Siems, listen to Irish fiddle tunes performed by Headwaters Instructor Julia Anderson and make a Celtic knot with a Headwaters art instructor, a release said.
“Take a step forward by putting the beat in your feet and joy in your heart as you learn several folk and circle dances,” the release said. “This session will offer a multigenerational dance gathering that celebrates connections, community and camaraderie.”
This event is free and open to the public. No registration or dance experience is necessary.
