Drumbeg Gardening Club is holding its annual Spring Bulb and Flower Show at Stoer Hall on Friday, March 15.

A spokesperson for the gardening club said: “We invite everyone who wants to enjoy a dose of spring after this long winter to come along, bring a flowering plant or potted display to be part of the show and maybe win ‘Best in Show’.

Anyone who wants to enter Drumbeg Gardening Club’s Spring bulb and Flower Show is asked to bring their spring bulbs, flower arrangement or potted plants to Stoer Hall on Friday March 15 between 1.30pm and 2pm.

“This is also a good opportunity for anyone who is new to growing or gardening in Assynt to meet other keen gardeners and learn more about our little club. It would be lovely to see some of you.”

The Best in Show award is open to all and is voted by the public. There is also a competition for members only.

Anyone who wants to enter is asked to bring their spring bulbs, flower arrangement or potted plant to Stoer Hall on the day between 1.30pm and 2pm. The hall will be open to view the display from 2.30pm. Entry is £2 per person and includes tea, coffee and cake.
