Wrexham: Anti-social behaviour leads to closure orders
Closure orders allow police to deny people access to a premises for a certain period of time.
The orders made in Wrexham come after issues which led to ‘high demand’ among officers in the area to regularly attend the properties in question.
The properties will be closed for three months, North Wales Police have said.
A statement from NWP Wrexham Town read: “On Friday (March 8) officers attended court to get 2 x closures orders onto properties in Wrexham, which have been causing a high demand due to anti-social behaviour.
“The Closure order which was granted will last 3 months and allows only the residents and approved professionals into these properties, anyone else who enters these properties will be liable for arrest and prosecution.”
