Many regional trips, major events in Lukashenko’s 2024 schedule
MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – This year Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has many trips to the regions and important events in his calendar, Natalya Eismont, press secretary of the Belarusian president, told the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
The press secretary recalled that this year was declared the Year of Quality in Belarus. “This year, the president will definitely dive deep into a variety of fields and industries to assess the quality of work there,” she said. “I have no doubts that absolutely all areas of work will be covered this year. I am sure that we will travel a lot around the country, to the regions. There will be many regional trips, a lot of important events. That’s for sure.”
By the way, Aleksandr Lukashenko has already inspected the fields and had a look at the condition of soil in Minsk Oblast, in the area not far from where he lives. He has done that without journalists. The head of state always pays great attention to issues related to the agricultural industry, especially during the planting and harvesting seasons.
Natalya Eismont informed that the president is going to host a large-scale event soon to discuss the state of things in the domestic manufacturing industry. At the request of the head of state, the format of this event will be expanded. “Having studied the proposed plan of the event, the president gave an instruction to step up preparations and scale up the event. The president believes that heads of our industry giants should definitely be among the participants of such a meeting. The format will be expanded. “This will be a landmark event for our most important economic sector,” the press secretary emphasized.
