Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to statement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, stating that Baku’s claims about purposeful escalation of the situation do not correspond to reality.

It is noted that, allegedly, the sovereign right of defensive actions by Armenia “is not legitimate and poses a threat to Azerbaijan”.

According to the Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Baku’s actions “comply with international law and do not pose a threat to the neighboring country.”
