Somers Point Beach Concert Series garners national spotlight
Somers Point has the top outdoor concert series in the country.
That’s at least according to the current voting on USA Today’s Readers Choice Awards.
The Somers Point Beach Concert Series is currently atop the leaderboard, besting venues from North Carolina, California, Colorado and Chicago, Illinois.
Known for its unique, magical and world-class concerts on a small-town beach, the concert series has been praised for its diverse and incredible lineup.
The concerts run from June 14 through Sept. 6, with a lineup that caters to all music lovers, spanning genres from classic rock to R&B and tribute bands.
It even features Grammy-award-winning recording artists, adding a touch of prestige to the already impressive roster.
A special reunion party on the Fourth of July, hosted by Eddie & the Cruisers, will feature John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band from the original soundtrack.
The recognition by USA Today readers is a testament to the Somers Point community’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, accessible entertainment.
The nationwide survey pays tribute to the commitment and dedicated work of the coordinators, artists and community members who support Somers Point Beach Concerts. It also indicates that the concert series isn’t just a local favorite but a national treasure.
