St. Patrick’s Day events happening in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – St. Patrick’s Day is officially observed annually on March 17 and comes with parades, festivals, music, food and dancing.

The Midlands is no exception to the festivities.

Here are a list of some of the celebrations in the area:

Columbia

St. Pat’s in Five Points: Runs from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 in Five Points in downtown Columbia.

Lexington

9th Annual Shamrock Parade: The parade will roll down Main Street at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 17
