CASPER, Wyo. — Jehovah’s Witnesses have planned two events this month, commemorating the death of Jesus Christ and discussing the resurrection. Casper residents are invited to attend both free events.
On Sunday, March 24, millions of Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world will gather to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ. The annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal will feature a talk highlighting the significance of Jesus’ death and what it means for all of mankind. The one-hour event will begin and conclude with prayer.
Before the memorial, a talk titled “The Resurrection — Victory Over Death!” will be delivered Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17.
The 30-minute, Bible-based public talk will focus on the scriptural hope of a resurrection and what it means for the loved ones who have been lost.
Admission to the memorial and talk is free and open to the public, a news release states. Both events will be available in English and Spanish.
