For Jim Thorpe’s part, Mara Levins made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Levins was also solid in the batter’s box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
