The Ahmedabad City DEO has issued a stern warning to schools after receiving complaints about them remaining open on these holidays. The DEO’s letter to schools emphasizes govt’s mandate from a Nov 2023 notification, which requires all schools to adhere to the public holiday calendar for 2024.Strict action has been threatened against schools that fail to comply.
