The first weekend in April is sure to be fun. National Cherry Blossom Festival events continue with Petalpalooza at Yards Park, Art Blooms at Mosaic, and Jazz and Blossoms in Franklin Park.

The solar eclipse is the big headline this weekend. The National Air & Space Museum hosts a Get Ready for the Solar Eclipse Family Day on Saturday in DC, as well as events on Monday during the eclipse. Monday’s events take place on the National Mall and at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. The eclipse will be visible in the DC area between 2:04pm and 4:32pm on Monday, April 8.
