Brave Entertainment introduces four members of new K-pop group Candy Shop: ‘The birth of a new girl group’ | Music News

Brave Entertainment is gearing up for the launch of a rookie girl group. On February 12, Brave Entertainment released a short dance video titled “Candy Shop – Dance Performance #1” on their official channels as part of their promotions. The video features the four idols showcasing their dancing skills with confidence and energy.

Prior to this, Candy Shop had launched their official social media handles. The motion graphic logo of the group has generated excitement for their upcoming music.

Taking to their social media handle, Brave Entertainment wrote, “Candy Shop is a four-member new girl group presented by Brave Entertainment about 13 years after Brave Girls. Starting with Brave Brothers, who have led the success of many girl groups such as Brown Eyed Girls, After School, Sistar, and AOA, the producers of Brave have added all their efforts to announce the birth of a new girl group with both charm and skills.”

Explaining the meaning behind Candy Shop, they wrote, “Candy Shop is a compound word of ‘CAtch N Draw Youth’, which means ‘Let’s catch and draw youth’, and ‘Shop’, which symbolizes a space that connects members and listeners. The members, who have a variety of charms like tens of thousands of types of candy, show music that represents their generation and contain the aspiration to be reborn as ‘MZ icons.’”

Last month, Brave Entertainment announced they’re launching a new four-member girl group in the first half of 2024. It’s the agency’s first girl group debut since Brave Girls in 2011.
